About me
Hi, I am Martin, a PhD student and research assistant at the Chair of Business Information Management and the doctoral representative for the Faculty of Law and Economics at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. A former professional athlete and dean's list scholar at North Carolina State University Raleigh, I now research digital health for vulnerable populations, such as people with neurodegenerative diseases or the elderly. I am focusing on AI and AR-driven approaches that can benefit both these populations and digital health researchers. Methodologically, my research revolves around design science research and theorizing, trying to pave the way for a better (digital) future. When I am not researching, I am releasing solo piano pieces, touring with an indie rock band, spending time with my wife and dog, and reading a lot. Feel free to contact me!
